Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
To be considered for this rewarding role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and qualities:

  • Master's degree in psychology and eligibility for registration as a Psychologist in New Zealand.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing psychological assessments and evidence-based treatments.
  • Training and expertise in trauma-informed therapeutic models.
  • Minimum of three years of therapy experience.
  • Strong commitment to culturally safe practice and partnership.
  • Proven experience working with individuals with acute and complex mental health and/or addictions issues.
  • Familiarity or a strong willingness to work with Kaupapa Māori frameworks and services.
  • Proficiency in group delivery of interventions is advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Utu ā-tau | Salary
The salary range for the role is $76,860 - $104,571 (Mid) - $125,485. We may also offer flexible and/or part-time options for working hours. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
