The butterfly and the pig are seeking a Kitchen Porter to come in join the existing kitchen team. We are able to be fairly flexible depending on what hours we can offer to successful candidate depending on their needs.
We are looking for individuals to come in who can maintain a high standard of kitchen cleanliness whilst also assisting the kitchen team during busy service periods. Duties will include basic food prep, compliance with food hygenie legislation (cooksafe), stock control, and all other common areas of kitchen porter roles.
Ideal candidate should be able to balance the importance that there is ensuring compliance with all food safety regulation whilst supporting the busy chef team during service times. Consistency and reliability are key attributes for any candidates to possess as the kitchen porter is an important role within kitchen team.

Over time the right candidate could be able to progress either by more involvement in food preparation/service of the business if they so desire or through other training programs in which they are interested.
English language skills essential and current elementary (or higher) food hygenie certificate helpful, although training will be provided.
Hours – Flexible hours ranging from 30-40 per week, depending on how many hours candidate would like to regularly do and also dependent on rota requirements and staff holidays.
